Need for Speed: The Run

The Run is an illicit, high-stakes race throughout the country with no speed limits, no rules and no allies. The only way to make it out is to have the skills and determination to take on hundreds of the world’s most notorious drivers on the country’s most dangerous roads while avoiding the law who would not hesitate to use deadly force.

"The Run has a good racer inside it. It can be exciting and visceral. But all this awesome racing action gets somewhat lost amid the nonexistent story, the dumb/scripted AI, the lack of options, and the overall shortness of the game."

It's not just the cars themselves that make driving in The Run enjoyable. It's also the places you go. Starting in San Francisco, your path takes you through Yosemite National Park, the Rocky Mountains, downtown Chicago, and plenty of other locations.

For the most part The Run isn’t aggressively bad, just so poorly executed that it feels at once unfinished, under planned, and unpolished.

There is plenty to do in the game, but honestly, once I finish the story, I really don’t see myself going back through it again except to try out the new cars. Even then, I would just limit myself to one particular level.
